At 1300 Great Smile, we always have an emergency dentist on hand. Almost everyone knows what it’s like to have a toothache and some know what it’s like to have a more acute dental emergency like a knocked out tooth or an abscess. We know that dental emergencies don’t watch the clock and wait for office hours to happen.
In fact, for some, it seems like dental emergencies always happen at 5:01 on Friday afternoon, just after the dentist has closed for the weekend. We all know how it feels to be frustrated and not be able to get service all weekend, so we have decided to do something about it.
Whenever we are open, we have an emergency dentist working. We stay open late hours on the weekdays and regular hours on Saturday and Sunday to make sure you have an opportunity to make it to the dentist. If you have an acute dental emergency, we can always find a way to “work you in.”
Knocked Out Tooth
If you have a knocked out tooth, call 1300 473 287 immediately. It is important that you get immediate dental treatment if you want to save the tooth. Be sure not to handle the root of the tooth unless you absolutely have to. Make sure you don’t place the tooth in water. If you can, put the tooth back into its socket.
If the tooth won’t go back into the socket, place it in cold milk or put it between your tongue and your cheek on one side of your mouth.
